 Carlsberg £10m Bottling Plant
"Probably the best beer company in the world" chooses Polestar to support new £10m bottling plant.
Carlsberg, one of the world's leading brewers of beer has chosen Polestar Interactive Ltd; the Nottingham based networking, security and internet specialist to install and support the network infrastructure for their new £10 million bottling plant in Leeds. The new network based on Cisco & Microsoft technologies now supports over 200 users as well as all the plant control systems, enabling users to have greater mobility and improved security access across the entire network.
John Marshall of Carlsberg said "Knowing Polestar's previous success in implementing upgrades on our automation network they became the obvious choice for the network upgrade for the new bottling Line. Now that this work is successfully complete we have recently placed an order with Polestar to carry out the automation network upgrade for our new high speed Canning Line which is due to come on line in March 2006.
This decision was an easy one for me to make knowing from past and recent experience that they will provide an excellent upgrade on time and to budget."
